How is fallopian tube irrigation done? Are there any pictures?

Patient's question:

No

Doctor's answer:

Hello, tubal irrigation is a procedure where a catheter is used to inject fluid into the uterine cavity. Based on the resistance during injection, the presence or absence of fluid reflux, the amount of fluid injected, and the patient's sensation, it is determined whether the fallopian tubes are patent. Pay attention to the resistance, reflux, and leakage. If all the fluid can be injected smoothly without resistance or reflux, it indicates that the fallopian tubes are patent. If there is significant resistance, and the pressure is reduced to allow 10ml of fluid to reflux back into the syringe, it indicates that the fallopian tubes are not patent. If there is moderate resistance during fluid injection with a small amount of reflux, it suggests that the fallopian tubes are partially patent. Do not force the injection if resistance is encountered.
