To a large extent, it also fills a gap in contemporary Chinese literary academia. The book boasts a broad theoretical perspective, highly relevant and topical themes, rich yet coherent content, rigorous logic, and clear reasoning, making it of great academic and practical significance. The research objectives of this paper are:
First, to deepen the study of the "mediatization" and "mediated nature" of modern and postmodern literature;
Second, with cultural communication as the lens and "media and literature" as the fulcrum, to interpret the urgency and feasibility of poetics reconstruction;
Third, to explore the literary influence and generative power of media/media fields;
Fourth, to construct the literary field of the media age and analyze the literary significance of new elements in the field;
Fifth, to explain the connotation of "media poetics" and the necessity of the research paradigm "moving toward media poetics," while preliminarily defining the research scope of "media poetics";
Sixth, to provide a forward-looking perspective on the future of literature and future literature, and to conduct a rational analysis of the aesthetic value of media literature.
In summary, the fundamental task of this paper is to place the transformation of traditional literary research into contemporary literary research within the structural logic of the media society/media cultural field and against the backdrop of the literary form shift in the media society. By doing so, it seeks to offer a new meaning for literature and poetics.
