Features: You Yi (c. 1679–1749), styled Zaijing (also known as Zaijing), styled Zhuwu, and later styled Shehe Shanshan. He was a native of Wuxian, Jiangsu, and a renowned physician of the Qing Dynasty. At the age of 20, he devoted himself to medicine, extensively studying medical texts and broadening his knowledge. Around the age of 47, he meticulously researched the Jin Gui Yao Lue and compiled Jin Gui Yao Lue Xin Dian. By the age of 52, he further revised and renamed it Jin Gui Yi. Around the age of 50, he completed Shang Han Guan Zhu Ji. The Shang Han Guan Zhu Ji as revised in this edition was published in the sixth year of the Yongzheng reign (1729), comprising eight volumes. Volume 1 and Volume 2 cover the Taiyang section, Volume 3 and Volume 4 cover the Yangming section, Volume 5 covers the Shaoyang section, Volume 6 covers the Taiyin section, Volume 7 covers the Shaoyin section, and Volume 8 covers the Jueyin section. The entire work is organized according to the six-channel classification of the Shang Han Lun, arranging the precepts of the Shang Han Lun by methods, thereby summarizing various treatment methods in the Shang Han Lun. By annotating the precepts arranged by methods, it elucidates the essence of syndrome differentiation and treatment in the Shang Han Lun, making it of great guiding significance for clinical practice.
