Features: Research-based learning refers to learning activities where students, based on their own interests, select and determine research topics under the guidance of teachers from natural, social, and their own life experiences. In this process, students actively acquire knowledge, apply knowledge, and solve problems. Research-based learning emphasizes that students, through exploration and practice, enhance their inquiry and innovative awareness, learn scientific research methods, and improve their ability to comprehensively apply knowledge. Through research-based learning activities, students develop a positive, proactive, and autonomous cooperative inquiry learning approach. The core activities of research-based learning are topic research or project inquiry activities. Under the guidance and organization of teachers, students actively imitate or follow the general process of scientific research, select specific topics, collect a large amount of research data or factual data through methods such as surveys, observations, measurements, and literature collection. They then use research methods such as experiments and empirical studies to conduct research on the topics, solve problems, and write research reports or research papers.
