1. The Joy of Fishing Through the Seasons
[The Joy of Spring Fishing]
Many people enjoy fishing during the season when flowers are blooming. Fish, like humans, awaken and begin a new life when the spring waters ripple after a long winter. This is the perfect time for fishing. Meanwhile, people who have stayed indoors all winter also come outdoors, finally getting their fill of fishing. Imagine arriving at a sunny suburban spot, finding a quiet place with rippling water, sitting down quietly, and then leisurely casting your fishing rod into the emerald water. Your eyes are fixed on the red-colored float bobbing aimlessly in the water. This scene is truly a pleasure. If you manage to catch a few fresh, lively fish at this moment, it’s a great comfort and joy. However, fishing requires knowledge and skill. In other words, you must understand the life patterns and habits of fish in different seasons and be able to skillfully cast your hook accurately to where the fish are active. Only then will the fish bite, and you will have a successful catch. Fish are very sensitive to seasonal changes, especially in spring, when they become extremely active. Unlike the motionless state in cold winter, they move to shallow waters to enjoy their time. If you observe them closely at this time, you can also notice the variations in the color of their scales, which change as clearly and evenly as tree rings. The scales formed in winter are darker and the rings narrower, while in the warm spring environment, fish are in their growth phase, with lighter-colored scales and wider ring boundaries. These color variations not only record the history of climatic changes but also reflect the actual age of the fish. At this time, choose a shaded spot for fishing, and you are sure to have a good catch.
