What is the reason for a child getting a cold after getting vaccinated?

Patient's question:

My baby will be 7 months old on March 5th. The last vaccination was supposed to be on February 5th, but due to a slight cold, it was delayed until February 17th to receive the hepatitis B vaccine (there was a little cough, but the doctor said it was okay to get vaccinated). The A vaccine was not administered. Could you please advise if it is acceptable to skip vaccinations this month and receive the measles vaccine on April 5th?

Doctor's answer:

The vaccines currently used in the national immunization program are very safe in terms of quality, efficacy, and safety. If your child experiences symptoms similar to a cold after vaccination, it is best not to give them medication. Except for a fever exceeding 38.5 degrees, for which fever-reducing medication is necessary, with patient care, your child will soon recover from the discomfort. If the symptoms worsen, a doctor should be consulted to determine whether treatment is needed. Antibiotics should never be used lightly.
