During posterior treatment, although vaginal tandem spheres are available in various diameters, there is a lack of a tandem sphere that allows for eccentric positioning of the radiation source. However, common conditions such as vaginal cancer, cervical cancer vaginal invasion, vaginal metastatic cancer, and vaginal remnants or recurrence after cervical cancer treatment often have lesions that are one side of the vagina. Using only vaginal tandem spheres would expose the entire vagina to the same dose, which is not conducive to increasing the dose at the lesion site and protecting normal vaginal mucosa. Here, we introduce a simple method for making a self-made vaginal for eccentric treatment.
