3. The concept of wind energy guides the idea that good fortune and misfortune are two aspects of the same thing. It is incorrect to simply divide things into good and bad. Some people might say, "One person is lucky, while another is unlucky," but in reality, people's luck has no inherent goodness or badness. In fact, the key lies in the amount of energy a person possesses at birth—it's like the displacement of a car engine. Some people have 3,000 milliliters of energy, while others have only 600 milliliters. Throughout life, the energy released by 3,000 milliliters and 600 milliliters is different. When encountering obstacles, the energy output also differs. For example, a car with a 600-milliliter engine is easily stalled on a hill, whereas a car with a 3,000-milliliter engine can easily overcome it. Therefore, those with "good luck" or "strong luck" are those with 3,000 milliliters of energy, while those with "bad luck" or "bad fortune" have only 600 milliliters. However, people born with 600 milliliters of energy and those born with 3,000 milliliters are not inherently better or worse. In the universe, apart from the energy within humans, the energy of "qi" is virtually limitless. This energy is partly stored in the earth and the oceans, thus having a profound influence on all things on land and underground. If this energy can be used wisely, even if you are born with only 600 milliliters of energy, you can still unleash more energy, much like a 600-milliliter car receiving the power of a 3,000-milliliter engine. The process of harnessing the energy of the universe and the earth is called the practice of Feng Shui. In Feng Shui, yin and yang are generally considered together. The rotation of the earth naturally creates day and night. Day is yang, and night is yin, and there is no inherent goodness or badness between them. Similarly, the rise and fall of tides are just two manifestations of things. Therefore, it can be concluded that yin and yang, the inner and outer, and the high and low levels of energy are all corresponding. Even in human society, what may be luck or a good opportunity for some may be misfortune or bad luck for others. The energy of the land acts equally before everyone in Feng Shui, where there are no notions of good or bad. The so-called divination of "good or bad" in Feng Shui is not its true intention but rather the maximally flexible use of the land's energy (qi) to enhance the energy of its inhabitants. On land where the "qi" is abundant, if you can make good use of it, you can replenish your own "qi," allowing you to live a healthy and happy life. When dealing with multiple judgments and choices, you will achieve your desires naturally, and this manifests as "good luck." Conversely, if you ignore the land's energy, the opposite effect will occur—the energy will dissipate, and if you live in such a place, you are more likely to fall ill, leading to "bad luck." In nature, there is no good or bad, only high and low levels of energy. Good or bad depends solely on the amount of energy a person receives or the method by which they receive it. In reality, it's like rain, which falls equally on everyone. For those who can benefit from it, such as umbrella sellers or fish in ponds, it is a blessing. However, for some, rain may bring trouble, and this is what is referred to as "bad luck." P23-24
