Features: Dr. Chen Huijin has been dedicated to the series research of intracranial lesions in newborns for over two decades. He has conducted extensive research on the imaging diagnosis and prevention/treatment of intracranial lesions in newborns, most of which have been pioneering in China. Currently, he is a doctoral supervisor in the field of neonatology at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. In the past decade, research on intracranial lesions in newborns has advanced rapidly both domestically and internationally. With multiple grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Health's National Key Research Program, the Shanghai Municipal Key Research Program, as well as funds from the former Shanghai Second Medical University and Xinhua Hospital, the author and his research team have continued to deepen and expand their research on the imaging diagnosis, basic research, and clinical applications of intracranial lesions in newborns, achieving new results based on the foundation of the past decade. This book primarily introduces common intracranial lesions in newborns, including congenital cranial malformations, intracranial hemorrhage in newborns, and hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy in newborns, covering their pathogenesis, imaging diagnosis, and prevention/treatment. It reflects the current progress of research on this topic both domestically and internationally and is accompanied by a comprehensive collection of ultrasound, CT, and MRI images for the diagnosis of common intracranial lesions in newborns. It is believed to be beneficial for pediatricians, neonatologists, ultrasonographers, and radiologists.
