Patient's question:
NoDoctor's answer:
A virgin does not necessarily bleed during her first sexual experience. There are generally two reasons for this:1. The hymen may have broken prematurely due to accidental trauma, such as injuries during childhood, or accidental contact with sharp objects near the external genitalia, during bathing, or when inserting vaginal medication. In some cases, the hymen may naturally be very fragile, and activities like cycling can cause it to break, resulting in no bleeding on the first night.
2. The hymen may have a large opening, good elasticity, and fewer blood vessels inside. If the male is gentle and not rough during intercourse, the hymen may not break until childbirth, at which point it may still not bleed.
