Trim the edges of the ruptured hymen to create a wound, and suture the submucosal and inner/outer mucosa in alignment; alternatively, suture the hymen in a circular manner to reduce its circular diameter to the extent that a small finger can pass through. For more severe hymen rupture, it is advisable to detach a portion of the mucosa from both sides of the vaginal orifice and suture the hymen toward the center of the vaginal orifice.
