Features: In modern society, when someone's rank on the wealth list is mentioned, it immediately brings to mind how many billions of assets they possess. When we talk about anyone's success, it is always linked to the wealth they have created. Since wealth has evolved into being measured by the amount of money one owns, we have become fish in the water, absolutely unable to leave money at any moment. Without water, fish cannot survive; without money, people cannot move an inch or live. But without money does not mean you lack resources. If you are born in a stream, the stream is your resource; if you are born in a river, the river is your resource. Your resources may be as small as a faint trickle of water, but they do exist—if not, you would have long perished. It is just that you haven’t noticed them, haven’t tapped into them, or haven’t converted them into money or wealth. Otherwise, you would have long been a successful person, a big fish.
Your resources may be like the clear springwater from a mountain gully, dripping drop by drop from the cracks in the rocks, forming a shallow pool of water. But what if there is no such faint trickle? It would become a stagnant pool, drying up soon enough, and the little fish living in it would also perish. So, we always yearn for more water, more money, to live better. But because your starting point is so low, only a tiny amount comes in each day, and almost as much evaporates, even if this small pool of water can last for a long time, you can only maintain your current state. This little bit of water is your entire capital for survival. Even if you are extremely anxious to grow and develop, it is very difficult. If you encounter consecutive days of drought, this small source of water will also be difficult to preserve.
Therefore, you must quickly find a model that allows the "input" to exceed the "output." For example, you could discover other springs nearby and let them all flow into yours, or dig your spring larger so that water gushes out faster and in greater quantities. The small pool of water you have can then accumulate more and more, and eventually, this little fish can follow the flow out of the pool, heading toward streams, rivers, and the vast, unpredictable rivers and lakes—you truly "go into the sea." Your resources will grow, your wealth will increase, your ability to withstand drought and flood will strengthen, and you will grow into a big fish.
This process requires not only wisdom and courage but also precious experience gained through personal experience. If you haven’t gone through these stages yourself, you cannot truly understand the nature of wealth or master the skills to get rich. P4
