The book introduces a new signal processing method—the Hilbert-Huang Transform method, focusing on the IMF criterion and endpoint effect problem in the Hilbert-Huang Transform, and proposes a series of mechanical fault diagnosis methods based on the Hilbert-Huang Transform. The theoretical methods proposed have not only been verified through experiments but have also been applied in practical engineering and achieved good diagnostic results.
