Features: Military artists have always been an important force in the field of Chinese art. Over the decades, army painters have adhered to thematic painting creation, maintained a high unity of ideological and artistic quality, and insisted on deeply engaging with life. They have made relentless efforts to explore and develop military-themed artistic creation with Chinese characteristics. I am often moved by their dedication, hard work, and selfless spirit, deeply feeling the admirable and lovable nature of this troop. Here, I thank Huayi Publishing House for publishing this series of books, and I also thank the chief editors Mr. Zhang Longxin and Mr. Zhou Yin Yao. I believe that through the publication of this series, it will further promote the development of military art creation. I hope this series of books will continue to be published, allowing readers to learn more about the research achievements of military artists.
