How to deal with postpartum bladder prolapse

Patient's question:

Postpartum checkup doctor said there is a prolapse of the anterior and posterior vaginal walls, and recommended that I undergo pelvic floor rehabilitation treatment. The prolapse condition hasn't improved much, and it has blocked the vaginal opening. Frequent urination and urgency have significantly eased.

Doctor's answer:

Vaginal anterior wall prolapse often co-occurs with cystocele, urethral obstruction, and difficulty in urination. In severe cases, it can lead to urinary retention. Residual urine can easily cause cystitis, resulting in urinary frequency, urgency, and dysuria. A small number of women with prolapse also have hydronephrosis.
