Features: This book took four years to write from start to finish, with many chapters being written while teaching and summarizing. Therefore, it can be strictly said that it is a collection of learning insights. The book primarily references works and cases on insurance law from the UK and the US. This is partly due to my limited abilities and partly because the UK is the birthplace of modern commercial insurance and modern commercial insurance law, while the US is the world's largest commercial insurance market with a vast number of reference insurance cases. The purpose of writing this book is not to tell readers what is right or wrong in insurance or insurance law, but to help them understand the basic theories of insurance law through the study of fundamental legal principles and the analysis of insurance cases, gradually enabling them to master the methods of analyzing and solving insurance legal issues. Because every principle has exceptions, any principle or theory is derived from a specific context. If the context in which it was generated or exists is removed or changed, the principle or theory must be adjusted. Additionally, many issues in insurance litigation cannot be fully resolved by insurance law alone.
