It includes pieces that reflect the interests of children and adolescents; folk tunes in ethnic minority styles; arrangements of classic works from around the world; as well as compositions based on popular music and theme songs from films and television. Most of the pieces are suitable for performance by middle and primary school students, while some are also available for professional guzheng ensembles for training and performances. All the pieces in this collection have been refined and perfected through repeated practice, making them vivid, melodious, and artistically effective. It is hoped that the publication of this book will further promote the establishment of guzheng ensembles both in China and abroad, as well as the development of guzheng art.
