About the Author: Paul Yao is the president of Paul Yao Company, a company that provides educational and consulting services to software engineers based on Microsoft Windows software technologies. He has written seven books on Windows programming, including this book "Programmer's Guide to Windows" co-authored with David Durant on the topic of Windows programming (Sybex, 1987). Paul is also one of the main editors of MSDN and regularly writes articles for Windows CE and Pocket PC developers.
