Features: This textbook is one of the series of teaching materials for the sub-project "Research and Practice of Major Courses and Main Teaching Content in Finance Majors" under the project "Research on the Teaching Evaluation and Quality Supervision System of Adult Higher Education in Shandong Province" approved by the Shandong Provincial Department of Education (Project No. J05P06). In Western countries, Corporate Finance is a core course in the financial curriculum of business schools, while in China, Corporate Finance has traditionally been translated as Corporate Finance or Company Finance, serving as a core course for accounting majors. It should be noted that translating Corporate Finance as Corporate Finance or Company Finance is not merely a matter of different names but also reflects fundamental differences in academic categories. Company Finance belongs to the field of management, with a focus on application and practical operations, whereas Corporate Finance belongs to the field of economics, emphasizing the integration of economic and financial theory and practice. It covers the entire process of corporate financial activities, including financing, financial investment, and physical asset investment decisions to ensure the normal circulation of financing, omitting the content of financial statement analysis. Additionally, while dividend decisions are addressed in both Corporate Finance and Company Finance, Corporate Finance focuses on analyzing dividend decisions from a financing perspective, while Company Finance emphasizes analyzing them from a distribution perspective. In China, Corporate Finance is a newly emerging course in the field of finance, born with the introduction of modern Western financial theories, the development of capital markets, and the marketization of corporate financial practices. This book is structured around the operation of Corporate Finance, incorporating the latest achievements of modern financial theory research in its chapter arrangements. It considers the characteristics and requirements of adult education, achieving an organic combination of theory and practice.
