In recent years, the state has formulated and issued a series of standards for the quality control and testing of stone and accessories. These standards have played a significant role in advancing China's stone industry, regulating the testing market, improving product and engineering quality, and enhancing the technical proficiency of relevant professionals. To meet the needs of stone production units, stone application units, construction project quality supervision, and other industries, the National Building Materials Industry Stone Quality Supervision and Testing Center, in collaboration with the Fifth Editorial Office of China Standard Press, has compiled this standard collection based on years of experience in stone quality supervision and testing. This collection includes 37 standards issued and currently in effect as of January 31, 2006, covering fundamental and test methods for stone, stone products and accessories, and stone processing machinery. Among these, there are 17 national standards and 20 industry standards.
