The optional content is marked with an asterisk () before the chapter and section titles. Each chapter includes review questions, exercises, and answers to exercises. At the end of each volume, there are two sets of self-assessment questions. The question types of the assessment questions are consistent with those of the Structural Mechanics Question Bank approved by the State Education Commission. This book can be used as a textbook for civil engineering majors in various specialized fields such as civil engineering, road and bridge engineering, and water conservancy.
