Features: During my years of teaching art, I found that I could capture the captivating scenes before me in a short time, while students would spend hours or even longer to achieve the same. It was clear that they did not take sketching seriously enough. Therefore, I now require them to draw sketches every week. Of course, it is indeed challenging for beginners to grasp the form at once, but as long as they practice frequently and persistently, they are bound to succeed. Sketching is extremely important for students majoring in fine arts or art design. I spent nearly a year working on this book, from the chapter "Introduction to Sketching" to the sixth chapter "Artwork Appreciation," comprising six chapters in total. Particularly in Chapter 2, I wrote about "Still Life Sketching," which students often overlook. They tend to spend hours rubbing the paper with their pencils, completely losing the vitality of the objects. In reality, we can imbue life into anything, using extraordinary imagination to make the objects lively and dynamic. This expression of nature comes from the genuine feelings that burst forth from the heart. The sketching examples in the book are records of my casual observations over the years, and this is only a part of them, reflecting my love and passion for life. I have also included the works of the renowned and respected art masters from home and abroad in the book. Here, I express my sincere gratitude. This book is comprehensive, richly illustrated, easy to understand, and can serve as both a professional and amateur art training textbook as well as a reference for copying. Whether for beginners or students with some drawing foundation, it provides practical guidance.
