Features: To facilitate communication between、 and audio-visual and electronic publishers, and to provide convenience for the exchange and business connections among these publishers, we have compiled the 《2005 China Audio-Visual and Electronic Publishers Directory》. The book includes the basic information of 342 audio-visual publishers and 163 electronic publishers across the country as of December 2005, including: publisher name (Chinese and English), establishment date, legal representative, business person in charge, postal code, telephone, fax, email, scope of publication, supervisory unit, and hosting unit. Considering the frequent changes in the publisher prefixes of audio-visual and electronic publishing units, we have specially added the historical prefixes used by these publishers to help readers understand the history of their prefix usage. The appendix of the book introduces relevant international ISBN organizations and the scope of international ISBN, providing readers with knowledge and the latest developments in international ISBN. For the convenience of readers, the book is organized by the location of the publishing units, with the classification order being: audio-visual publishers, electronic publishers, and audio-visual and electronic publishers. Audio-visual publishers are arranged in order of publisher code, while other publishing units are arranged in order of publisher prefix. The appendix of the book also provides a Pinyin index, a publisher prefix index, and a publisher code index.
