Later, journalists saw that Annan first met a Chinese sculptor named Hu Yiping in his office, where his solo sculpture exhibition was being held in the UN Hall. When the president of the organizing committee for the commemoration of the 500th anniversary of Michelangelo's birth in Florence, Italy, saw his sculptures in New York, this gentleman bent down reverently and kissed the works, exclaiming repeatedly, 'Perfect.' On February 19, 1998, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York acquired a Chinese seal print of the museum's seal, which was inked with vermilion. The author of this seal print was Hu Yiping." Over the years, Hu Yiping has created a large number of outstanding artworks and has held numerous solo exhibitions. These works have been collected by collectors and museums in China, the United States, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Singapore. Hu Yiping is a talented and uniquely individual artist. His achievements are the result of his long-term dedication to the pursuit of art. Every piece he creates reflects his inner feelings and is imbued with his life, giving his works a timeless and enduring vitality.
