Features: This year's winning works cover multiple aspects such as politics, economy, science and technology, culture, and sports. The genres range from news, special reports, commentaries, live broadcasts to documentaries and animated films, encompassing almost everything. They vividly reflect the advancement of contemporary broadcasting and media, as well as the efforts of radio and television professionals to provide spiritual nourishment to audiences at all levels. The visual impact of television screens is self-evident. However, the scenes, environments, and emotions conveyed through sound can also allow listeners to imagine and find a sense of the visuals. How to leverage the charm of sound in broadcasting, expand imaginative space, and create a sense of visuals—some programs offer research examples. Like previous selections, this year's competition also revealed shortcomings in the submitted programs, including those nominated and awarded, as well as in the columns. There are both long-standing issues and newly emerging ones. For example, there are still relatively few high-quality short news reports; live programs often lack competence in judging the value of topics, planning concepts, and execution; the submission channels for advertisements should be broadened, as the quality of this year's submissions, including the winning entries, was limited.
