Features: Mathematics is an important foundational subject. To build a solid foundation in mathematics, it should be emphasized from primary school. The mathematics knowledge in primary school may seem varied, but from the perspective of quality-oriented education, the focus should be on cultivating students' innovative awareness and practical abilities. In recent years, with the comprehensive implementation of quality-oriented education in primary schools, teachers, students, and parents have increasingly felt the importance of teaching some Olympiad math to students who are interested in mathematics and have the ability to learn it. This book addresses the issues of many previous Olympiad math books, which often contain excessive descriptions and overly difficult problems, leading to low student interest. During the writing process, it specifically reflects several characteristics:
[Aligned with the textbook] Improve and deepen understanding while mastering the basic knowledge of the curriculum.
[Easily self-study] Example problems provide detailed reasoning and solutions to help students grasp the methods.
[Layered structure] Problems range from easy to difficult, with clear levels, and are closely linked to real-life situations.
[Thought-provoking] Inspire thinking, encourage multiple solutions, and provide hints in the answers.
[Open-ended] Some problems have open conditions, solutions, and results, allowing students to fully unleash their imagination and creativity.
[Engaging] Lower-grade problems focus on observation, hands-on drawing and measuring, with an animated style.
To avoid overburdening students, this book arranges three days of self-study and practice for each lesson. On the first day, students study "Topic Analysis" and "Basic Principles" and complete two imitation training problems; on the second day, they do two consolidation training problems; on the third day, they do two expansion and improvement problems, ensuring daily learning and practice.
