Does infantile roseola recur?

Patient's question:

Recently, my daughter has been running a fever at night, and no treatment seems to help. Every night at midnight, I have to rush her to the hospital to get her checked for roseola. I want to ask if roseola can recur? Is this normal? Is there something wrong with her body? I want to give her a comprehensive check-up. What do the doctors suggest?

Doctor's answer:

Acute rash in infants and young children has lifelong immunity and will not appear twice. Encourage children to engage in more outdoor activities and get more sun exposure regularly to actively boost their body's resistance, which can reduce the incidence. Acute rash in children, also known as fever or roseola, is a common infectious disease in infants and young children. It may be caused by the spread of viruses through saliva splashes, unlike measles which is highly contagious. There are many diseases in winter and spring. Most cases occur in children under the age of one, while children over two years old rarely get sick. After contracting this disease, it is usually not contracted again.
