Does medication help with uterine polyps?

Patient's question:

Approximately two months, vaginal bleeding after intercourse, the hospital said it was uterine polyps.

Doctor's answer:

Cervical polyps are formed by local hyperplasia of the mucous membrane in the cervical canal. They have thin and long stalks, making them easy to be completely removed during excision. However, another type of cervical polyp occurs in the vaginal part of the cervix. Although it is superficial in position, its base is relatively wide, making it difficult to be completely removed during treatment and prone to regrowth.
