Consecutive two miscarriages?

Patient's question:

I am 27 years old. I have had two medication-induced miscarriages in the past, both around 40 days, with the last one occurring in September 2004. Last year, we decided to have a child, but in late October (when I was nearly three months pregnant), I miscarried. The examination revealed that the fetus was underdeveloped. My last menstrual period was on January 26 of this year, and in early April, I experienced another miscarriage. Hospital tests showed ureaplasma infection, which has now been treated and resolved. Could my condition be related to immunity? How can I avoid miscarriages in the future?

Doctor's answer:

Recurrent miscarriage is academically referred to as recurrent spontaneous abortion (abbreviated as RSA), which refers to the phenomenon of two or more fetal demise or stillbirth occurring in the same pregnancy. It falls under the category of infertility. It is best to have a comprehensive examination at the hospital.
