Features: Our publishing house has long been compiling a series titled Beijing Opera Qupu, which selects and compiles plays from renowned Beijing Opera schools. The series is published in separate volumes according to plays, including scripts, vocal scores (some of which include accompaniment scores), stage directions, and gong and drum patterns. These volumes serve as practical manuals for learning and rehearsing Beijing Opera, possessing strong usability and reference value. Since its publication, the series has been widely welcomed by Beijing Opera enthusiasts, with some even being used as teaching materials in opera schools. However, most of the books have been sold out, and readers frequently write to request a new edition. To promote our nation's excellent traditional culture, glorify the art of Beijing Opera, meet reader demand, and facilitate preservation, we have slightly revised the original Beijing Opera Qupu and recompiled it as Beijing Opera Qupu Jicheng (Comprehensive Collection). Each volume will feature several selected plays, and additionally, we will compile and publish previously unpublished works in installments.
