Features: Rock and roll, which originated in the United States in the 1950s, has already had several decades of history by the 21st century. From the emergence of the famous rock star Elvis Presley to the Beatles and Rolling Stone bands, as well as the later emergence of various new genres, it has left a profound impression on the young people in China who love rock and roll. Rock and roll started relatively late in China, with guitars, drum kits, and electronic keyboards gradually entering cities around the 1970s. By the late 1980s, Cui Jian's work "Nothing to Lose" sparked a and extraordinary response nationwide, marking a breakthrough for Chinese rock and roll. Although rock and roll in China started late, the rock army of nearly ten million people is making rapid progress. To create a good environment for the development and popularization of rock and roll, Mr. Wang Diiping has compiled this "New Rock Music Collection of Scores," referencing Western and European rock music scores, to fill the gap of a lack of comprehensive rock music scores in China. The book compiles nearly 30 new works of the most popular rock bands in China—Chinese rock essentials, which is a must-learn for rock enthusiasts. The arrangements in the book are meticulous and in-depth, with each piece featuring introductions, endings, and coda, as well as accurate guidance for playing special instruments. The most notable feature of the book is that the arranged works offer more expressive space for performance while retaining the original style, and learners can also find audiovisual materials. The publication of this book is suitable for both beginners and advanced players, as well as professional bands, making it a pioneering, practical, and collectible rock music score collection.
