I have an endometrial polyp of 8mm4mm, what should I do?

Patient's question:

After the medication abortion failed, a D&C was performed immediately. Bleeding stopped after one week. Menstruation returned on July 15th. The first menstrual period after the abortion was heavier and lasted longer than before. On the first day of the period, a vaginal color ultrasound was conducted, showing strong echoes in the uterine cavity, approximately 8mm x 4mm in size. The ultrasound results suggested: endometrial polyps with other differentiable conditions.

Doctor's answer:

Medical Analysis: Polyps or cysts are issues that medication cannot effectively address. Surgical intervention is generally the better approach. Your polyps are very small.
Recommendation: It should not be a significant problem, and surgery may not be necessary. Generally, it will not affect fertility or pregnancy. If the polyps are larger, they can be removed.
