Patient's question:
The left side is sunken, I don't knowDoctor's answer:
Analysis of the condition: Hello, nipple inversion is mostly congenital, but a portion is caused by trauma, mastitis, or other factors leading to poor development of nipple muscles, resulting in contraction of milk ducts and nipple inversion. Additionally, wearing tight clothing, especially for women during breast development when wearing tight underwear, can affect the normal blood supply and growth of the breast, particularly the distal nipple, making nipple inversion more likely.Advice: You can place your thumbs near the inverted nipple and press downward on the breast tissue, then gradually push outward toward the areola. Perform this 4-5 times daily in the morning or before bed. Once the nipple slightly protrudes, gently lift it with your fingers to make it more prominent. Alternatively, you can use cupping therapy to draw it outward, or cover the nipple with the outer tube of a 5ml syringe and connect a rubber bulb to another 5ml syringe to use negative pressure suction, which can also help the nipple protrude.
Each time you clean your breasts, gently dry them with a soft towel and then lightly pull the base of the nipple outward while massaging it for several minutes. With persistent effort, you can overcome inversion and make the nipple protrude.
