Hello; I have severe cervical erosion and have been undergoing pharmacological treatment. Currently

Patient's question:

No

Doctor's answer:

Patients with severe cervical erosion commonly use methods such as electrocoagulation, laser therapy, and cryotherapy. Physical therapy treatments are effective but have significant side effects. Over-treatment can lead to local cervical tissue contraction, scar formation, reduced sensitivity during sexual activity, decreased cervical secretions, and even low libido. It can also alter cervical mucus, causing infertility or difficulty in cervical dilation during childbirth, leading to delivery complications. Therefore, physical therapy is not recommended for patients who have not yet given birth or those who prioritize (spousal quality of life).
