Please ask if I finished my period on April 17th and started having redness and swelling in the external genital area on April 27th

Patient's question:

No

Doctor's answer:

The main treatment methods include local medication and systemic medication. Local medication involves rinsing the external genitalia with a 2-4% sodium bicarbonate solution, vaginal irrigation, or soaking in a bath, and selecting one of the following medications to place inside the vagina: 1. Miconazole suppositories, one (200mg) per night for 7 consecutive days, or one (400mg) per night for 3 consecutive days, or one (1200mg) as a single dose; 2. Clotrimazole suppositories, one (150mg) inserted deep into the vagina per night for 7 consecutive days, or one (150mg) in the morning and evening each day for 3 consecutive days, or one (500mg) as a single dose; 3. Nystatin suppositories, one (100,000U) per night for 10-14 consecutive days. For patients who cannot tolerate local medication, unmarried women, and those unwilling to use local medication, oral medications can be selected. Commonly used medications include fluconazole 150mg, taken as a single dose, or itraconazole 200mg, taken once daily for 3-5 days, or a one-day regimen with 400mg divided into two doses.
