Nipple discharge with a lump

Patient's question:

Before

Doctor's answer:

Analysis of the condition: Hello! What color is the nipple discharge, and how much is the amount? When did you give birth, and have you been breastfeeding? Did you experience breast inflammation during breastfeeding? Nipple discharge could be due to duct dilation, which is generally more common after breastfeeding. If the discharge is clear or milky white, it is usually not a serious issue. However, if the discharge is bloody, it should be highly for the possibility of malignancy.
Recommendation: If the current examination does not reveal any problems, two methods can be considered: one is breast MRI or ductoscopy, and the other is surgical treatment. Wishing you good health!
