Was I really 27 years old and menopausal?

Patient's question:

27 years old, menopausal for 4 years, had six hormone tests, estrogen is very low, luteinizing hormone is very high. The doctor said it has reached menopausal levels. Later, I took Premarin for 5 months. The first three months, I took half a tablet, and I had my period every month after finishing it. The next two months, I took one tablet, but it was very irregular. I had my period before finishing it, and in the last month, I took it but still didn’t have my period. It has been 4 months since I stopped taking the medication and still haven’t had my period. Ultrasound shows a very small uterus, with an endometrium of only 2mm. In my situation, can I no longer have my period or have children?

Doctor's answer:

Hello, you are experiencing symptoms of premature ovarian failure, and there is only one method available, which is cyclical therapy. I am in the same situation as you and cannot have children. If my answer satisfies you, please click to accept the answer. Wishing you all the best!
