They include both successful experiences and lessons from failures. Whether the cases are successful or unsuccessful, they will provide practical inspiration and guidance for corporate financial managers. 2. Each case provides a detailed description of the situation, followed by in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis. During the introduction and analysis, there are insightful comments, and each case concludes with a theoretical summary linked to practical application. 3. The selection of cases is both systematic and thematic, with a clear focus. The systematic aspect refers to the six books in this series covering the main content of financial management as comprehensively as possible. The thematic aspect refers to the concentration of one specialized issue of financial management in each book. Financial failure is a fundamental crisis threatening the sustainable operation of a company. Whether it involves massive losses or continuous losses, inability to repay due debts, insolvency, or bankruptcy, these explicit manifestations of financial failure will become severe events affecting the survival, development, and sustainable operation of the company. "A frozen inch is not formed in a single day," and financial failure of listed companies is not sudden but a gradual accumulation process. Financial crises have both dangerous and difficult aspects, but they also present opportunities and chances. If people can thoroughly understand the mechanisms behind corporate failures, learn from the lessons, summarize the experiences, and fully leverage their subjective initiative and creativity, it may be possible to improve the company's financial condition and turn the tide. The writing of this book is based on two main purposes: 1. Through an in-depth analysis of financial failure cases, to specifically explore the causes of financial failure in listed companies; 2. Through a review and reflection on financial failure cases, to summarize the lessons, insights, and revelations they leave us.
