Guidance:
Gynecological examinations and endocrine examinations are not the same thing. Gynecological examinations are first and foremost routine examinations, which is what we usually call gynecological internal examinations. Through visual inspection and palpation, doctors check for any skin changes such as tumors, inflammation, or sexually transmitted diseases in the external genitalia, as well as the size, texture, and position of the uterus, the size and shape of the ovaries, and whether there is tenderness or pain in the pelvic cavity. The second is a smear test of vaginal secretions. This checks for vaginal abnormalities, vaginal inflammation, and microscopic examination of leukorrhea to determine if there is trichomoniasis or fungal infection, and to assess the vaginal cleanliness. Finally, there is a cervical examination. This determines whether there is cervical inflammation, cervical erosion, or polyps. To prevent cervical cancer, a cervical smear test should be performed, where a wooden spatula is used by the doctor to collect shed cells from the cervical opening, which are then sent to the laboratory for observation of any abnormal cell morphology. This method can detect almost 90% of cervical cancer lesions. If the cervical smear test is abnormal, further examinations should be conducted under the guidance of a doctor.
