Features: The importance of management in social activities is a consensus reached by both academia and the business world. Any individual who exists within a certain organization or society is either a manager, a managed, or a self-manager. As a manager, whether managing an organization, a unit within an organization, a group of people, or a specific task, they need to be proficient in the art of management. Our university is one of the earliest higher education institutions to offer management courses. Since its establishment in 1952, it set up the majors of Industrial Economics and Business Economics Management, offering both Industrial Enterprise Management and Business Enterprise Management courses in these two majors, and compiled corresponding enterprise management textbooks. In 1978, our university established the Materials Economics major and offered Materials Enterprise Management courses. In 1992, with the development of disciplinary construction, following the requirements of the Ministry of Education, the majors of Industrial Enterprise Management, Business Enterprise Management, and Materials Enterprise Management were merged, and management courses were uniformly offered, officially establishing the core position of management in the university's professional courses. In 1994, after the establishment of the School of Business and Management, the Management Teaching Department was set up to offer management courses for the entire university. In 1995, our university first published textbooks, teaching syllabi, and case textbooks named "Management." Over the decades, our university's business management discipline has made significant progress. The majors of Industrial Economics and Enterprise Management were granted master's degree as early as 1982, received doctoral in 1986, and obtained the Enterprise Management doctoral program in 1998. In 2000, our university was granted the first-level discipline doctoral in Business Administration. In 2002, our Enterprise Management program was rated as a "Key Discipline of Liaoning Province." In 2002, our Management program was rated as an "Outstanding Course of Liaoning Province," and in 2003, it was awarded the title of "Excellence Course of Liaoning Province," exerting a significant influence in Liaoning Province and even across the country.
