Features: This book consists of four parts:
1. Introduction to the Guzheng: A brief introduction to some basic knowledge of the Guzheng, including photographs of Guzheng solo performances and various combinations of the Guzheng with other instruments. It also features two precious photographs introducing the schools and representative figures of the Guzheng (Figure 1, Figure 2). Among them, the late masters Cao Dongfu (Henan Guzheng School), Zhao Yuzhai (Shandong Guzheng School), Luo Jiuxiang (Guangdong Hakka Guzheng School), Su Wenxian (Guangdong Chaozhou Guzheng School), and Wang Xunzhi (Zhejiang Guzheng School) have passed away. They were all leading figures or outstanding representatives of their respective schools, contributing immeasurably to the development of Chinese folk music and the Guzheng art. This section is dedicated to introducing them, hoping that everyone will broaden their horizons and remember their achievements. If this can also inspire you, that would be even better.
2. Playing Posture: Understanding the key points of the body during playing and mastering the correct posture. Learners are encouraged to carefully refer to the illustrations.
3. Finger Technique Practice: Each finger technique is accompanied by illustrations (except for a few), finger exercises, and practice pieces. The practice pieces include children's songs, folk songs, original compositions, and foreign songs, all of which are melodious, short, and easy to learn.
4. Pieces: The book includes 40 pieces, providing learners with the opportunity to explore various styles and requirements, and to master different playing skills.
