3. Tofu Skin is the "White Bone Demon," but in tofu skin's view, corn is laughable, morally self-righteous, and obsessive about cleanliness. Compared to the innocent upbringing of Zhou Bichong and Li Yuchun, Zhang Liying, also a "80s" generation member, has a much more worldly experience: losing her father at 15, disliking studies but loving singing, singing in karaoke bars to support her family, and being entangled in various scandals. However, these negative news did not destroy Zhang Liying; instead, they earned her unexpected sympathy and support. Unlike corn's purification of Li Yuchun, tofu skin follows a path of suffering and self-redemption. Tofu skin portrays Zhang Liying as a brave warrior who fights against fate, a phoenix reborn in blood. The values of tofu skin are that no one in the world is pure, so blaming the world for its dirt is an escape. Struggling in the midst of filth and standing up is what defines the strong. This goal is good, and for the sake of a good goal, scheming and unscrupulous means are justified, as long as one does not pretend or be pretentious. A well-known tofu skin said, "If corn's ethics are akin to family ethics, then tofu skin's ethics are more similar to a commercial ethics." In stark contrast to corn, almost all the high-ranking members in the tofu skin group are successful men. Therefore, people jokingly call those who like Zhang Liying "white (collar) bone (dry) elites (jokes)." Among tofu skin, celebrities and influential figures are the largest group. For an established elite class, the time is not for discussing history but for talking about taste, style, and identity. The latter is exactly what liking Zhang Liying signifies. It means you are familiar with Western pop music, and it means you focus on music in the "Super Girl" competition. This sense of superiority in identity is something no other super fan group possesses.
