Features: This book organically and skillfully combines the theoretical methods of medical statistics with the functions of SAS statistical software. It serves a dual purpose as both statistical software and data processing analysis guidance. It is not only an applied reference book with functions of data processing and statistical analysis software, but also a methodological guidance reference book on how to conduct data processing and statistical analysis. It is the accumulation of the author's ten years of experience in data processing and analysis for a large number of medical research projects. The book is divided into three parts and thirteen chapters. Part I: Methods for Processing Medical Research Data, consisting of four chapters, primarily introduces how to integrate, detect errors, and process variables in medical research data. Part II: Methods for Analyzing Medical Research Data, consisting of six chapters, primarily introduces how to select different statistical methods for describing and analyzing medical research data. Part III: Case Analysis, consisting of three chapters, primarily introduces the data analysis approaches and the process of generating results for nine articles published in SCI journals (with an impact factor between 2 and 35) by our research group in the past five years. To facilitate reader learning, the SAS macros used in the book and the examples introduced are all the accompanying CD-ROM for practice.
