Features: My mood always returns to a state of zero and tranquility at the moment of curtain call and receiving applause. The noise on stage, the clamor of the world, and all the sounds that the river whispers in the night will vanish. What is called phenomenon cannot change the silent nature of this world. After everything disappears, only one thing remains eternal—that is the belief and passion of love. The souls of people who burn for love cast an unwavering shadow into the long river of history over the centuries. The passion of humanity in searching for love, the passion of dreams will be eternal. ——The words of Shadow, a super-popular scholar favored by Yi Zhongtian at first sight, who combines the roles of singer, dancer, and writer. The extraordinary woman Shadow is searching for her warrior! This is a reflection on love, told from the perspective of a Broadway girl in America, with a feminist lens, seeking love long forgotten in the cultures of East and West. She wanders between her own and others' souls, reinterpreting the love of numerous figures like Zhu Liangniang, Wu Zetian, Zhu Yingtai, Lolita, and the Green Snake with romantic and idealistic prose. Whether it is demanding, yearning, attained, or unattainable, whether it is profound, vast, obsessive, or innocent—all forms of love are forever frozen in the long river of history, lingering in the heartbeat of three thousand years, leaving endless passion. This book is a collection of essays, including works such as "Floral Matters," "Tea Aura," "Shadow Path," "Ghost," and "Wife of the Ghost."
