What are the examination items for primary infertility?

Patient's question:

Hello, I have been with my husband for several years. During this time, we never used contraception, but we did not get pregnant. I don't know if there is an issue with either of us. Recently, my husband had a semen analysis, and the results showed prostatitis. He is now being treated for it, and it has improved quite a bit. I am wondering what problems I might have.

Doctor's answer:

Examine for genital organ diseases, checking for masses, tenderness, or mobility of the uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries, as well as the patency of the fallopian tubes, and whether the development of the uterus, fallopian tubes, and vagina is normal, and whether any abnormalities exist.
Examine for infertility caused by diseases of the vagina, cervix, uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, or pelvic cavity, assessing whether the size and position of the uterus are normal and whether there is any infection.
Examine for endocrine and other functional disorders, assessing ovulation status and ovarian function at different times in the menstrual cycle through serum estrogen and progesterone level measurements; evaluate basal metabolic function to understand thyroid function; conduct adrenal function tests and serum prolactin measurements, and check for the presence of antisperm antibodies.
Examine for systemic diseases, identifying whether factors or causes affecting female fertility are obesity, thyroid dysfunction (ovarian dysfunction, autoimmune disorders, metabolic abnormalities), diabetes, or psychological factors.
