Publish Date: 2006-04-01
Features: This book is a compilation of articles from the same-named internal publication organized and edited by the Economic Department of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. These articles primarily reflect major theoretical and practical issues in China's national economy, as well as economic hotspots and difficult problems of concern to both the academic community and practical working departments. In 2005, the journal published a total of 18 issues, covering topics such as macroeconomic conditions, industry, finance, foreign trade, public finance, energy, grain, urbanization, investment and savings, population and employment, medical and health care, enterprise reform, and many other aspects of Marxist economic theory. During the publication process, the editors continuously received feedback from readers requesting that published research reports be compiled into a book for easier collection and preservation. With the approval of the editorial committee of China Economic Research Report, we have decided to publish and release their compiled research reports annually in the future to meet the needs of readers from government departments, research institutions, universities and colleges, enterprises, and various related fields of social sciences.
