Is there a curable form of congenital azoospermia?

Patient's question:

This year, my wife and I decided to have a child. More than half a year has passed, and she hasn't gotten pregnant. When we went to the hospital for a check-up, we found out that I have congenital azoospermia. After searching online, I learned that congenital azoospermia is considered incurable. I was wondering if there are any exceptions. Is there a treatable form of congenital azoospermia?

Doctor's answer:

Hello, congenital azoospermia is not always incurable. The main causes of congenital azoospermia include absence of testicles, bilateral cryptorchidism, testicular abnormalities, testicular lesions, testicular injury, hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism, hyperfunction or hypofunction of the pituitary gland, endocrine diseases, hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism, genetic diseases, and so on. In fact, except for the absence of testicles, severely damaged testicles, and genetic diseases, the rest are also treatable.
