What is a small penis considered pathological

Patient's question:

There are many reports of micropenis in clinical practice. I don't know the specific pathological categories of micropenis. Here I ask, which type of micropenis is considered pathological?

Doctor's answer:

Pathological micropenis is mainly caused by:
(1) Hypogonadism with high gonadotropin levels, where the hypothalamus and pituitary are normal and can issue strong commands, but the testes are diseased and unable to execute the commands to produce hormones and sperm.
(2) Hypogonadism with low gonadotropin levels, where the hypothalamus and pituitary are affected and cannot issue instructions to secrete testosterone.
(3) Partial androgen insensitivity syndrome, where the penis is insensitive to androgens. The patient's testosterone levels are normal, but the secondary sexual characteristics are abnormal, and even hypospadias may occur.
(4) Idiopathic micropenis, where the cause or etiology remains unknown.
