What is anti-B2 glycoprotein?

Patient's question:

I had an infertility test, and everything else was normal, except that one item, anti-B2 glycoprotein, was high. The doctor said I need to have the test for three months in a row to confirm it. Could you please tell me what this is and if it affects pregnancy? Is the problem serious??

Doctor's answer:

Post-Coital Test (PCT): Conducted during the predicted ovulation period. Abstain from sexual intercourse for 3 days before the test, avoid vaginal medication or douching. If there is inflammation in the cervix, with thick mucus and white blood cells, the test is not suitable. Treatment is required before retesting.
Collect cervical mucus from the participant within 2 to 8 hours after intercourse and apply it to a slide for examination. If there are 20 active sperm per high-power field, the result is normal. If sperm penetration through the mucus is poor or sperm are immobile, the result is abnormal.
A normal PCT indicates normal sexual activity, normal estrogen secretion by the ovaries, and a normal cervical mucus reaction. Sperm can penetrate the cervical mucus, suggesting that the couple is fertile and excluding infertility caused by cervical factors in the female or sperm vitality and penetration ability in the male.
