Features: The Chinese HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) is a national standardized examination designed to assess the Chinese proficiency of non-native speakers (including foreigners, overseas Chinese, and ethnic minority groups within China). The HSK is developed and administered by the HSK Center of Beijing Language and Culture University, comprising three levels: Basic HSK (abbreviated as HSK-Basic), Intermediate and Advanced HSK (abbreviated as HSK-Intermediate and Advanced), and Advanced HSK (abbreviated as HSK-Advanced). The HSK is held regularly in China and overseas each year. Those who achieve the required scores can obtain a corresponding-level "Chinese Proficiency Certificate."
The "Chinese Character Learning Cards" are compiled according to the requirements of the HSK, including all characters from Basic HSK (HSK-Basic), Intermediate and Advanced HSK (HSK-Intermediate and Advanced), and Advanced HSK (HSK-Advanced). Based on the characteristics of non-native speakers (including foreigners, overseas Chinese, and ethnic minority groups within China), the cards provide annotations for the stroke order of characters, pinyin, word groups, and English explanations. To assist learners in better studying and using Chinese characters, this book adopts a stamp-like printing format (which can be read as a book or torn into individual cards). The back of each character card displays its related word groups and explanations.
